Jawline Thread Lift in Seoul
A jawline thread lift lifts sagging jowls and redefines the jaw-to-neck line with dissolvable PDO threads — no incision and no stitches. At Grand Plastic Surgery in Gangnam it takes 30–60 minutes under IV sedation, with same-day discharge; the threads dissolve gradually after about 240 days.

What is a jawline thread lift?
A jawline thread lift places fine, absorbable threads along the lower face through tiny needle entry points. Small cogs on each thread grip the soft tissue of the jowls and lift it back towards the cheekbone and ear, sharpening the jawline.
Grand uses a moulding-type PDO thread with 360° spiral cogs (USP 1-0, 0.40 mm), made from MFDS- and FDA-approved PDO. It is absorbed after about 240 days and stimulates collagen as it dissolves.
It suits early jowling and a softening jawline. For heavier sagging or loose neck skin, a facelift or neck lift gives a stronger, longer-lasting result.
How a jawline thread lift works
A thread lift repositions tissue mechanically, then the dissolving thread helps the skin firm up over the following months.
Design the vectors
Your doctor marks lifting lines from the jowl towards the ear and temple.
Insert the threads
Under IV sedation, threads go in through tiny entry points — no scalpel and no stitches.
Lift and define
The cogs lift the jowl tissue and sharpen the jaw-to-neck angle; threads dissolve over about 240 days.

How long does a thread lift last? The PDO thread is absorbed after about 240 days; how long the lift is visible after that depends on your skin, age and degree of sagging — your surgeon will advise at consultation.
